Thanks for your concern Tibor…you sure have good value for the amount I invested in your company…it’s nice to know there are still people that care about others, regardless of the money. Anyway, my son is coming home to Winnipeg around the end of June, he has found a doctor in Vancouver willing to help him taper, although he hasn’t passed the 2-80, 1-40 mg? stage yet, which I have been told is still a high dosage of oxy, but much less than the amount he was taking. The doctor also prescribed cortisone? to help with withdrawal symptoms. My son wants medical detox the next time he tries and I am investigating in-patient detox centers at the moment; there is limited availability in Winnipeg for private help, but the costs are similar ($16,380 for 28 days). He could also just go to the emergency room of one of our public hospitals, but I am trying to avoid that direction. I guess I would sum it up with – we don’t know what to do or even what we are doing, we don’t know where to go and we don’t have the money to pay for the large private system fees (but I will get it somehow). We do have faith though and my son is committed to being released from the “prison” that he is in, which is very positive.
