Joseph,

the cost of the program is online by clicking onto the 'buy now' button and also on the intro video; see http://www.drugrehabadvisor.com/at-home-withdrawal/program-overview/
This is a PLAN to follow so expect to get active and go shopping for the ingredients to assist your detox from methadone - you'll need to give your body a LOT of support, methadone is a slow killer

Shawn,
for information on the Waismann Method or rapid detox, I wrote an article regarding some of my concerns with the protocol on above link.

I recommend that all medical detox be coordinated with a holistic rehab program or down in a holistic medical detox center. You can read more on drugrehabadvisor.com home page

i was on 90mg the way i read is to go down between 1 and 2.5 mg a week or go 5mg every 2 weeks. i chose 2.5mg a week since i get 10mg pills and you cant break them down any smaller and be accurate. it was totally fine until i got down to 10mg. i wasnt super sick or anything, just very weak, tired, and irritable, feelings that are impossible to have when you are trying to raise a 1 yr old child. did i say im 21 and live with fiance, we are trying to do this together. he said i was going to fast and maybe he was right because i got down to 2.5 mg and the day i was supposed to go down to 0mg aka nothing, i got sick of all the bs and the trying so hard and being strong and taking care of everything i went and got some dope. now im going back to 15mg which for me is the lowest stable dose.once you get down below 10mg it no longer builds up in your system you are metabolizing it as fast as you are taking it. but trust me you are not that sick. if you do it slow like i did. the problem for me is the stress of trying to be a mommy and house-wife at the same time of detoxing of methadone the two do not work together. id been taking a coctail of low-dose benzos and 8hour tylenol to try and mask the symptoms too and i was feeling fine physically the only thing i coudl not rid of was the racing thoughts. and at night i would get rls so i started taking a muscle relaxer lucky my baby sleeps through the night. the problem is i dont know how to do this. there is no way i can afford to be sick even for a day with my son and nobody to watch him. if you have nobody that relies on you and you go down max 2.5 mg a week you will be fine. you will be irritable take some anti-anxiety, if you get rls like me from detox even naproxen (aleve) can help that if its mild enough. this can be done at home but for me i dont know what to do. the last month really you need a stress free environment to get off that last 10 is the hardest. believe me i couldnt do it yet. i have to wait longer. plus you better make sure you are prepared because after 2.5 years of being clean these last few weeks ive felt like it was never there it never happened and i was right back at that beginning fresh out of detox not knowing how to stay clean feeling. be prepared.its not that hard. but if you have responsibilities, well, sometimes you have to re-evaluate your priorities.

Tim,

I prefer holistic and medically supervised opiate detox programs. I'm not a fan of rapid opiate detox programs. The body needs some time to readjust and get kick started back into action after so long in hibernation (on methadone). If you are looking into a relatively fast detox which your insurance may partially reimburse you for over a 10 day period, I can recommend centers in FL and CA. Looking at about $10k or $1,000 / day. For people who want to get healthier fast, these programs focus on healthy recovery and dealing with the after effects of being on methadone, long term. Would you be interested in finding out about those?
