Oxycontin is considered by many doctors and health professionals as a very dangerous pharmaceutical drug because it is analogous to heroin: the body can’t tell the difference between the two.
There for a longer term detox and rehab program is usually the most economical in the long run. If time is the major factor, I do work with a very successful 15 day intensive outpatient program that give 6 weeks of follow up. Both directions will cost in excess of $10,000. Economically, therefore one has to decide to make the arrangements to get away for a couple of months to a rehab center. But we can find a local center which works very well also.
