Will Lorazepam Detox End Addiction? Good News

Lorazepam or Benzodiazepine Addiction

Lorazepam Detox

Story: You’ve been following doctor’s orders to take 1 mg of Lorazepam or Ativan and 6 months or a year later you’re depressed. The psych or MD writes you a script for ant-depressants and you feel worse. He claims it’s normal to need pharmaceuticals at you age, young or middle aged.

You get the distinct idea that you’ve been hooked onto drugs by your own doctor! You’re mad and want to sue. The doctor tells you to just stop taking your meds or to reduce them and see how you do. You become more anxious, can’t sleep and begin to sweat and shake. You think your going through a flu or a horrible panic attack.

You’re doctor tells you that your adverse reactions to coming off or detoxing from Lorazepam or other benzodiazepines confirms you have a chemical imbalance and you really needed to be on the drugs. He raises the dose and the tremors cease, but you still feel awful and have poor concentration.

What do you do?

Do you admit you’ve got a dependency to Lorazepam or anti-depressants, maybe you’re even addicted to benzos? The longer you take pharmaceuticals the worse off you’re getting. Soon you don’t or can’t function well and you don’t look at all well. So you stop going out, people and social situations make you nervous anyway.

What’s happening to you?

Fact: You’re doctor has gotten you addicted or dependent onto benzodiazepine drugs. If the MD or psych put you onto Lorazepam, you’re taking one of the most potentially addictive psychotropic drugs on the market. Some say worse than heroin, as heroin withdrawals only last a maximum of 10 days and are usually over in 4 days.

Good News: Correct benzo detox is an amazing recovery process.

Yet, benzodiazepine withdrawals seem to come back for months and months after traditional benzo detoxs at medical clinics or after step downs.

Why?

Important: Lorazepam detox is a poorly understood detoxification process and most MDs, detox center hospitals and addictions doctors mess up Lorazepam detox. The problem with detoxing from Lorazepam is that the damage or toxic reactions of the drugs on the nerve cells tend to make the nerves hypersensitive to stimulation, any stimulation. Yet, this toxic reaction can be reversed!

The consequence of being stimulated chronically by the after effects of Lorazepam or other benzodiazepines, sometimes 24/7, is that you’re stress reactions eventually burn out all your reserves of nutrients and energy. You become a wreck.

Is there really something wrong with you? Like not right?

Important: No, not in the way you think. But there is something very wrong with your physical health and Lorazepam or anti-depressants is making it worse, actually these drugs are so toxic I could say they are causing your sick or chaotic condition.

Sue your doctor.

But what about you, what about your health? Your kids, spouse and family need you well. You need to get back on your feet and be functioning, especially in these chaotic economical times.

Action: Read more about how to help yourself detox from the horrible side effects of Lorazepam, benzodiazepine drugs and other psychotropics. Get the facts about Lorazepam detox at Drug Withdrawal Advice on DrugRehabAdvisor.

Benzodiazepine Treatment & Alcohol Rehab

Benzodiazepine Treatment

Benzodiazepine detoxification treatment requires more than pharmaceutical replacement or adjacent therapies, such as anti-depressant medications. Benzodiazepines are a sedative & hypnotic type of pharmaceutical drugs mostly prescribed for sleep and anxiety disorders.

Tip: Sleep and anxiety disorders often require a complex combination of treatments, if the basic source or cause of those sleep and anxiety issues remain buried and uncovered.

Finding and resolving the actual sleep and anxiety issues is the heart of the issue and the correct target source to go after and achieve complete rehabilitation.

Important: Successful Benzodiazepine Detoxification treatments are now using an entire protocol of intensive health, natural detoxification and recovery programs which incorporate alternative health, counseling, educational programs and a healing environment. As a drug rehab advisor, I’ve found the more successful benzodiazepine and alcohol treatment environments are natural and in beautiful spaces.

Hospitals rarely if ever provide these private settings. Smaller rehab and detoxification treatment centers offer more personalized one on one care. Settings of under 6 to 12 people receiving treatment is possible. Many believe personal familiarity is the best therapy. Big spaces with few participants provide healing opportunities.

Alcohol Rehab

Many people use both or either alcohol and benzodiazepines in tandem or they switch back and forth to either alcohol or benzos, to sleep or deal with anxiety issues.

Alcohol rehab is often brushed off by people seeking benzodiazepine detox as alcohol is considered a social drug. Often benzos and alcohol are masking or covering up a similar troublesome condition.

Tip: A successful attitude for a person in treatment is that benzodiazepines and alcohol use is an indicator of a bigger problem.

Benzodiazepine and Alcohol Treatment

Simply, alcohol and benzodiazepine use often mask similar and sometimes the same underlying condition.

Story: One client of mine was having a very difficult time attempting to withdraw from benzodiazepines, but was ‘keeping things together’ by drinking wine every night a couple hours before taking her benzo. I suggested that the alcohol and benzo were performing the same function for her and she, against medical direction and against my advice, suddenly stopped drinking. She had a withdrawal reaction which manifested in extreme agitation, criticalness and despair only 2 days after she stopped drinking.

Caution: While one should never mix medications with alcohol, realize that benzos and alcohol are both depressants and act similarly. Detoxing oneself from alcohol or benzodiazepines is not recommended by the Drug Rehab Advisor without medical supervision in an outpatient or inpatient setting.

Hope these simple notes on benzodiazepine treatment and alcohol rehab was helpful.

Doing A Benzodiazepine Taper But Now Need Detox?

Benzodiazepine Taper

Having problems with a benzodiazepine (benzo) taper, despite who you speak to, benzodiazepine detox advice at DrugRehabAdvisor has answers for benzo tapers you can employ today.

A benzo taper is an action of titrating or gradually reducing the amount of benzodiazepine medications one is detoxing from, hence a drug taper from a greater to lesser amount is done.

Benzodiazepine Taper Problems

Americans going through a benzodiazepine taper as suggested by the Ashton benzo protocol developed in the UK have hit a number of walls when attempting to drop their benzo taper even a small amount. Why is this? I believe the root source of this problem is simple: Americans have different expectations and medical indoctrination than people from the UK.

We have been schooled into the attitude of combining intelligence with effort to produce desired effects. The problem for Americans tapering off of benzos is that benzo detoxification requires a superior medical and nutritional understanding which is not common knowledge amongst US or UK doctors. US doctors attempt benzodiazepine taper more dynamically and UK doctors taper people from benzos conservatively.

Benzodiazepine Detox

When benzo tapers become a problem, benzodiazepine detox is strongly recommended if the benzo detox follows specific minimum requirements for detox and rehabilitation. These minimum standards are a Drug Rehab Advisor set of criteria I’ve found to make a massive difference in achieving successful benzo detox recovery and rehabilitation.

Drug Rehab Advisor’s Standards for Successful and Complete Benzodiazepine Detox:

  1. Nutritionally assisted and naturopathically supervised medical treatments
  2. Medially supervised to ensure comfort and safety, health of person determines degree of medical intervention required
  3. Detox center focus is on improving physical health and supporting the bodies own natural detoxification processes
  4. People are treated humanely as having legitimate difficulties, not as ‘addicts’ or drug abusers

See a full the list and explanation of why these Drug Rehab Advisor standards are necessary for an effective and standards for benzodiazepine detoxification and rehabilitation program.

When taking a benzo taper to ween yourself off of benzodiazepines, your success will be determined by the knowledge and nutritional understanding and skill of your doctor. MDs wishing to taper people off benzodiazepines need to be skilled not in pharmacopoeia but in natural detoxification and physiology.

Klonopin Recovery & Rehab

Pharmaceutical drugs like Klonopin and other benzodiazepines like Xanax, Librium, Lorazepam have dependency and possibly addiction written into their side effects. If you’re having a difficult time withdrawing from Klonopin, no need to feel inadequate – you’ve been duped by your doctor into a false sense of security.

Klonopin dependency is the chief consequence of taking Klonopin for a year or more. If you can simply step down from your dose and not have a 1/2 dozen other ‘disorders’ NOT come up in your life, you’re lucky. Many people who start on Klonopin, end up on anti-depressants, anti-psychotics and anti-seizure meds to name a few. Why all the meds? Klonopin produces nasty side effects that appear to be disorders when in fact they are consequences of the Klonopin.

Klonopin detox and rehab is a specialized field. I don’t recommend anyone attempt a Klonopin detox or rehab program without first consulting me at Drug Rehab Advisor. You’ll be glad you did, you can take my word for it or find out yourself.

See Klonopin specialized detox page for a better understanding of correct Klonopin detox and rehab procedures.

Recovering from a Klonopin detox is a misnomer. The reason people suffer through Klonopin detox is because they aren’t properly detoxed nor are they rehabilitated. Klonopin is a psychotropic drug which produces many side effects and other problems.

Some individuals become quite neurotic and even psychotic under Klonopin, especially while attempting a poorly planned and managed Klonopin detox. Klonopin addiction can become a problem. Minimally, one needs to gain expert detox advice in safely and rapidly getting through a Klonopin detox.

Benzo Addiction

Addicted To Benzodiazepines

Benzo Detox

Benzo Addiction

Rehabilitation is accomplishible, this is the good news. I’ll discuss later in this Drug Rehab Advisor brief, that benzodiazepine addiction can be detoxed from and rehabilitated from smoothly without the following warnings and consequences.

Rehabilitation from benzodiazepines simply need specialized natural and integrated medical therapies and environments to be entirely effective. You’ll read about how to determine which rehabs are effective and work and which you should avoid. This benzo briefing is intended to prepare you for success by giving benzo rehab the correct level of concern and care.

Benzodiazepine Addiction:

Story: A friend, family member or you are addicted to benzodiazepines or benzos. How do you know? You’ll know by the wake of destruction they leave in their wake of all who have attempted to help them get off these mind bending and mood altering drugs. If you want a taste of how addictive benzos are, attempt to get another off of benzos. You’ll probably not want to have anything to do with these people ever again.

Those who have attempted such heroics will tell you they won’t ever try to help another off of drugs again. That benzos are too addictive and that the person simply won’t be able to handle the withdrawals or the being off benzos.

Every plea you make for a benzo addict to stay on drugs is a plea they made to you while going through their benzo detox. Addiction to benzos is measured by the wake of destruction which follows a benzo addict. The damage is to all and anyone who attempts to help these tormented and addicted souls.

Is Benzo Addiction All Black?

While benzo addiction is rough on those attempting to help people through their torment, the addiction is an actual dependency which is menacing. Seizures, panic attacks, total dysfunction are all consequences of benzo detox done badly.

Warning: benzo detox should only be attempted while under close medical supervision, for their and your sake. Most people will act or dramatize like crazy people while experiencing benzo withdrawals, even months after quitting benzos. I’ve talked with them, I’ve seen it, I know about benzo addiction first hand.

Benzodiazepine Addiction Solutions

First, benzo addiction should be placed along with or greater in difficulty than a methamphetamine (crystal meth) or opiates (heroin) addiction. This means benzo detox and rehab is best done at a facility specially trained, nutritionally, medically and therapeutically to handle a full blown benzo addiction.

Benzodiazepine Rehab Done Wrong

Benzo rehab for benzo addiction is the natural and best way to therapeutically end a benzo addiction and return sanity and functionality to a benzo addict. Most benzo rehab facilities that use 12 Step, traditional or medical models of detox / rehab will run into significant trouble delivering a benzo rehab to end benzo addiction.

Most traditional benzo rehabs will simply switch a benzo addict to a lower dose or acting benzodiazepine and usually either keep the person on that benzo or write them a prescription for several other drugs while in rehab or when their on the way out the door. These rehab centers have only learned that they don’t want to be part of the wake of disaster following a benzo addicts drama coming off of benzos.

Benzodiazepine Addiction Rehabilitation & Detox Done Right

Note: Benzo rehab & detox done correctly is another story. For a correctly and expertly done benzo rehab a person needs to work with holistic, natural medicine and traditional medicine doctors to get safely and smoothly off of benzos. Benzo detox and rehab are the most tricky to process a person through but can be done with proper care.

My point here is that benzo rehab & detox should be delivered by people who specialize in taking people off of drugs. If you think you can go into a hospital or psych ward to detox or rehab from benzos, you’re in the wrong facility. These hospitals and psych wards are busy prescribing people onto benzos faster than they are taking them off benzos.

Klonopin Detox & Withdrawal

Klonopin Withdrawal and Detox

Pharmaceuticals, especially benzodiazapines like Klonopin, are some of the most difficult drugs to fully detox from and beat without expert detox. That means the heroin, crack and methadone addicts are going to have an easier time detoxing or withdrawing from those drugs than you, if you’re dependent on Klonopin.

I’ll show you how to discover correct Klonopin detox procedures and holistic physical and emotional rehabilitation. There is lots of hope for people who wish to avoid the horrible side effects of Klonopin while withdrawing. The sooner you learn how to live without Klonopin or psychotropics, the better off you’ll be and feel in the long run.

I’ve been visiting the dozens of forums of people attempting to get through a Klonopin withdrawal on their own or with no real sensible withdrawal program / plan. It’s heartbreaking – they are going through hell and being tortured for no good reason.

People wanting to smoothly withdraw fully from Klonopin and complete the detox as quickly as possible and have no

debilitating latent withdrawals, should contact  Drug Rehab Advisor for help working out the best program for you.

In patient withdrawal and detox centers for Klonopin detox and other benzodiazapines are not all the same. Some centers claim wonderful results yet, they really are not expert in benzo withdrawal and detox.

Klonopin detox centers should do something more than just withdraw you from benzo’s. A Klonopin detox center should put you on the road to physical rehabilitation and recuperation by resolving the underlying conditions which keep you dependent or addicted to benzos.

Klonopin Detox

Benzodiazapine detox, including Klonopin, can involve more than a withdrawal taper. There is a great deal of information on the internet and coming from medical advice panels, mostly written by pharmaceutical ghost writers, to slowly taper from benzo’s. While a slow taper is the best you can do when you don’t have any other withdrawal plan to follow, a slow taper is not the best for people in in-patient detox.

Costs of inpatient detox centers make it impractical for a long taper while in a detox center. The solution may mean an at home withdrawal program which I recommend if you are not immediately going into a Klonopin detox center program. This is offered on at home drug withdrawal, but there are other options.

Detoxing from Klonopin & Benzo’s

Holistic Klonopin Rehab Detox

Klonopin and other benzo’s have a long and nasty 1/2 life. Some refer to this 1/2 life the ‘rebound’ effect. A rebound is when a person withdraws from Klonopin and a couple of weeks or months later they get seriously anxious or depressed or can’t relax or get to sleep. That’s a rebound – a return to the detox symptoms all over again.

How do you escape or eliminate the Klonopin rebound?

Benzo’s like Klonopin mess up the entire hormonal and neurotransmitter activity of a person. These benzo residuals and metabolic residuals influence the hormones of a person for a long time after withdrawal is over.

What does this mean? It means that detox isn’t fully over until your body is naturally in homeostasis, you’re no longer dependent on toxic pharmaceuticals, you’ve got all those benzo’s out of you and your body has had an opportunity to get stronger, rebuild internally and fight off the imbalances after withdrawal.

Ideally, the benzo rehab center should correct all your hormone activity and detox you from toxic chemicals and heavy metals. These detox centers should also discover and resolve the actual causes of glandular dysfunction. These holistic and integrative corrective actions help return your physical and mental health as rapidly as possible. No problems get missed which could later haunt you.

How’s that done? You’ll need to start with a detox program you can do,  call drugrehabadvisor.com for a description of the different detox programs available. Take a look at ‘detox & withdrawal programs‘ at the top of this website for more details as well.

Xanax, Paxil and Lorazepam Detox

Benzodiazepine drugsXanax Detox, Paxil Detox and lorazepam (Ativan) Detox: These prescription pills are prescribed for anti-anxiety, and are benzodiazapine drugs or anti-depressants (Paxil). When benzo detox or anti-depressant detox is difficult to overcome, anti-anxiety drugs like benzodiazapines or anti-depressants often require the greatest knowledge and skills of medical / holistic doctors. If you are easily withdrawing from benzo’s, you’re one of the lucky ones.

Getting the most effective Xanax & Ativan detox and rehab program eliminates the guess work, worry and useless anxiety over finding help. I help people end Ativan, Xanax and Paxil withdrawals and crazy side effects by referring them to the best benzo detox and rehab centers available. I only work with holistic rehabs which specialize in healthy rehabilitation.

Xanax, Paxil and Lorazepam Abuse & Detox

Xanax and Paxil drugs are abused more than Ativan, probably due to an excess number of these benzos and anti-anxiety drugs on the market and in medicine cabinets. Many women especially become dependent on benzos thanks to their doctor’s quickness to write prescriptions and neglecting to let their patients know about the significant problems which Xanax and Paxil can cause taken over an extended period of time.

Xanax and Paxil abuse begins innocently enough. Most people walk in to see a doctor with an anxiety, sleep or panic problem and a doctor will start writing a prescription before you sit down in his office. No examination, physical, or testing is done to discover an actual cause of these and other conditions are looked into.

Detox from Xanax, Klonopin or Lorazepam often have rebound or reversed drug effects. The problems that you once solved with benzos or anti-anxiety drugs can now be 2, 3 or many times worse when trying to detox from benzos. Benzo drugs have side effects that are experienced when the ‘potion’ has worn off. Benzo drug effects are most apparent when detoxing. Benzos can lead to many drug dependencies requiring detox .

Benzo detox effects tend to keep people hopelessly dependent on benzo’s. Remember, a different type of thinking is required to solve the problem of benzo detox.

Finding and Solving Underlying Health Problems

The cause of many of these symptoms are stress and sleep related. Both stress and sleep issues can be generated by many many discoverable and treatable actual ailments. Many conditions are treated naturally with a change in social environment, diet, nutrients or exercise.

Ativan or lorazepam is a much more potent benzo and has a long history of creating drug dependent women since the early 1960s. The Rolling Stones song, ‘Mothers Little Helper’ warned people of the addictive nature of lorazepam. Today, big health problem are being created by lorazepam use.

Detox From Xanax, Paxil or Lorazepam (Ativan)

Detoxing from Xanax and Paxil can cause trouble for the person withdrawing. If they are having no problems, excellent. They got lucky. Lorazepam detox creates a much deeper problem with dependence, addiction and detox. Once benzo dependence is created by long use of Xanax, Paxil or lorazepam, specialized holistic detox programs are often required.

“We can’t solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them”, Albert Einstein.

Benzo detox requires a different type of solution than different pharmaceutical drugs prescribed in detox treatment. Often medical doctors prescribe drugs on note pads after a 3 to 7 minute consultation. As a note, I spend between 30 to 60 minutes on pre-enrollment before I know which type of detox center or detox program will be required to resolve a real health condition. Further consultation, information and medical history is taken before a prescribed course of action is taken.

Why spend all this time on consultation before any services are started? Because I care and take my job seriously.

Medical Drug Detox

Detox from medical drugs should be done only under a doctor’s supervision. All pharmaceutical labels warn patients never to attempt withdraw from medical drugs on your own. If medical drugs were so good, safe or effective, why should a person be warned not to stop taking drugs? Is there something the doctors and pharmaceutical companies are not telling us?

Medical Drug Detox – Problems & Solutions

If you start onto a medical drug for emotional, mental or functional problems the chances of becoming dependent or addicted to that drug is high. Sleeping pills, pain pills and anxiety pills are some of the most addictive drugs. Most of these medical drugs are extremely powerful.

For example, Ativan or lorazapam is such a powerful drug, people are warned not to exceed 2 mg / day on first starting. Stepping down from Ativan is very difficult because a .5 mg drop is too much for many people. How does a specialized medical detox handle these problems?

The major problem created by anti-anxiety type drugs is that they are extremely powerful and tend to overwhelm the entire body. Many of the natural body processes are profoundly effected by anti-anxiety drugs including breathing, heart rate, digestions, thinking, muscle response, sleep, etc. Those little pills take over the function of a person’s physiology almost completely.

The solution to any medical drug dependency is to get healthy, fast! Learn more at Specialized Medical Detox

Most medical doctors have no idea how to do that. MD’s will advise you to take it easy, get rest, it will take time, wait, etc. In short, MDs really only give instructions on how to not get sicker, but few know how to create health now.

Specialized medical detox solutions are required to get healthy quickly. The fact that your MD is not aware of these only verifies my above claim. Call the Drug Rehab Advisor for Detox Solutions you can start today 1-888-840-0927

Extended Withdraw Symptoms – How To End Withdrawals?

Are you having withdrawal symptoms that seem to never end when attempting to stop using pharmaceutical drugs? How long will this go on? And more importantly, can we end these horrible feelings so I can stay off drugs? Yes to all the above. I work with many detox programs and natural medicine centers that end protracted withdrawals rapidly, sometimes within a day or so. The full treatment will take longer, but the awful withdraws are ended quickly.

Pharmaceutical Withdrawal Symptoms

If your feeling foggy, depressed, grief stricken, achy, insomnia, fatigued, headaches, hopeless, anxiety, nauseous, can’t eat or other conditions after coming off of meds or drugs months ago, you are suffering from PAWS.

The longer a person was on medications or street drugs, the longer their withdraws could last if they just do the usual and ’suffer through it’ or ‘take these meds instead’. Emotion adjusting drugs bleed people dry of natural health and well being in the long run. 6 months is a long time to be on meds. Years is a very long time.

Extended Withdraw Symptoms – Emotional & Physical Dependency

Extended withdrawal symptoms from pharmaceuticals can go on for 6 months to 2 years if one just continues to do the same things they’ve been doing – juggle medications, try to treat the problem themselves, take a couple more vitamins, etc. I’m all about more nutrition but, a different and more intensive approach is required to properly combat extended withdrawals.

The worst recorded withdrawal symptoms are experienced by people having to ween off of or withdraw from Benzodiazapine and anti-depressant type of drugs.

Withdraw Symptoms – Cause & Cure

The cause of PAWS seems to be a burn out of and burn up of the bodies natural ability to produce neurotransmitters. Neurotransmitters aren’t drugs. Neurotransmitters are messengers the nerves use to tell the body how to respond to life situations. Crying all day because one feels bad is not the appropriate response to an everyday situation.

People respond strangely when their bodies and nervous symptoms aren’t functioning properly. Stress, accidents, nutritional deficiencies, toxic overload, drug or alcohol use or abuse, etc all burn out neurotransmitter function, production and replacement. Anti-depressant, SSRI and other drugs don’t build up neurotransmitters. In fact SSRI drugs create neurotransmitter deficiency. That’s a scary condition to experience and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone.

The good news is there is a way to rapidly build up your capacity to build up neurotransmitter production and get your body acting properly. We want you to react normally to life. Withdrawing from medical drugs sometimes requires nutrients, special holistic treatments, IVs, amino acids and integrative medical supervision to properly function again. See Integrative Medical Detox Advice pages and contact us for help.

Parkinson’s with unknown causes, will be on the increase if psych drugs are continually doled out to otherwise normal people.
