Understand Damaging Psychotropics & Achieve Detoxification and Rehabilitation

Psychotropics, The Mind & Rehab

A psychotropic drug is pharmaceutical mind altering drug in the category or psychoactive class of substances sold through pharmacies and prescribed by doctors.

By understanding the nature of psychotropics on the mind, I think you’ll understand why complete rehabilitation and detoxification is required and should be demanded to fully end psychotropic dependency.

I have been specializing in helping others achieve rehabilitation and detoxification from psychotropic dependency. Freedom from drugs is not only possible but expected when working with me as a Drug Rehab Advisor.

Psychotropic

1956, from psycho- + Gk. -tropos “turning,” from trepein (see trope). Hence, what “turns” the mind. [www.etymonline.com]

Trope

1530s, from L. tropus “a figure of speech,” from Gk. tropos “turn, direction, turn or figure of speech,” related to trope “a turning” and trepein “to turn,” from PIE base trep- “to turn” (cf. Skt. trapate “is ashamed, confused,” prop. “turns away in shame;” L. trepit “he turns”). Technically, in rhetoric, a figure of speech which consists in the use of a word or phrase in a sense other than that which is proper to it. [www.etymonline.com]

A psychotropic is a drug which turns or alters the mind away from it’s proper function or out of relation to how one usually regards mind function.

Mind function:

What is the mind doing? The mind is actually doing two things.

  1. perceiving, analyzing, evaluating and setting out solutions to problems relating to survival
  2. working out ways of avoiding pain, loss, damage and premature death

When the mind becomes a problem to itself, the being or mind will begin or work out ways to destroy part of or all of itself. This destruction may be destroying a damaging belief or practice. Or the destruction may include greater or less of its self.

Often drug use is an attempt to destroy unwanted feelings, emotions or sensations and their consequent behaviors.

Psychotropics are used or prescribed when a supposed or actual manifestation of mind mis-function is observed.

The great debate is over what caused this real or apparent aberrant behavior in the mind? Many say behavior is a function of chemicals in the brain or brought about through drugs taken.

Others say behavior is a function of thought and beliefs which translate into emotion and actions.

When considering the use or misuse of psychotropics, always consider the entire package. One gets both the potion and the poison, as the Greek analogy of drugs being like a coin goes.

Psychotropics definitely influence the mind, body, emotions and all body functions. These psychoactive substances have 100s of undesirable effects. Some of the effects are desirable and therefore are used to hopefully bring a benefit. Yet one also is plagued with the negative effects whether one wishes them on themselves or not.

Rehabilitation From Psychotropics

Rehabilitation is about making the body, mind and person fit and able again; fit and able without drugs, living and functioning properly. Therefore a person’s mind would be functioning right as no longer are they under the influence of psychotropics or destructive thought and beliefs which produce aberrant feelings emotions and consequent behavior.

Detoxification From Psychotropics

Detoxification is to fully and completely remove toxins or poisons from the body. As drugs are essentially toxins, drugs leave a toxic effect on the body which later will need to be repaired. The good news is that drugs aren’t required to detoxify, but nutrients and excellent health and healing practices are a must for anyone desiring complete detoxification from psychotropics.

When considering a detoxification or rehabilitation from psychotropic drugs, consider that a complete repair or refit is in order. One is not simply changing ones oil. Rehab and detox implies a complete cleaning and repair of all factors in the person which was deleterious and predisposed them to psychotropic intervention.

Psychotropic Meds Detox

Detoxing from psychotropic medications can require more know how and skill than detoxing from street drugs like heroin or cocaine.

Psychotropic Meds: are medications specifically intended to alter, modify or influence thought, behavior, mood of the person taking them. Psychotropic meds are mind altering drugs that are often far more powerful and more dangerous than ’street drugs’.

More people die, are hospitalized, overdose, suffer from serious side effects, are seriously damaged by psychotropic medications taken as prescribed by doctors than people who abuse illicit street drugs like cocaine, heroin, meth-amphetamines.

Detox From Psychotropic Meds

Detoxing from prescribed or illicitly abused psychotropic medications is therefore very desirable for people wishing a long healthy life. Several complications can arise while detoxing from psychotropic meds.

Major Psychotropic Med Detox Challenges:

  1. Your doctor doesn’t understand or believe you’ve become dependent / addicted to the powerful effects of these meds, and therefore is either incompetent in detoxing you smoothly from these psych meds or in conflict with your desire to be drug-free or off psychotropic medications
  2. Detox symptoms are creating significant problems in your life. The most common detox symptoms are erroneously called ‘rebound’ effects by pharmaceutical company reps. Psychotropic drug detox symptoms are an increase of bad feelings or conditions one had prior to getting onto the drugs, ie the drugs worsened your initial condition and the bad side effects are experienced while taking the drug or when the ‘therapeutic’ or potion like effects of the drug wear off
  3. Dangerous side effects of psychotropic drug detox are experienced. Now one becomes terrified or simply very cautious about withdrawing use of psych drugs

Medical Drug Detox

Detox from medical drugs should be done only under a doctor’s supervision. All pharmaceutical labels warn patients never to attempt withdraw from medical drugs on your own. If medical drugs were so good, safe or effective, why should a person be warned not to stop taking drugs? Is there something the doctors and pharmaceutical companies are not telling us?

Medical Drug Detox – Problems & Solutions

If you start onto a medical drug for emotional, mental or functional problems the chances of becoming dependent or addicted to that drug is high. Sleeping pills, pain pills and anxiety pills are some of the most addictive drugs. Most of these medical drugs are extremely powerful.

For example, Ativan or lorazapam is such a powerful drug, people are warned not to exceed 2 mg / day on first starting. Stepping down from Ativan is very difficult because a .5 mg drop is too much for many people. How does a specialized medical detox handle these problems?

The major problem created by anti-anxiety type drugs is that they are extremely powerful and tend to overwhelm the entire body. Many of the natural body processes are profoundly effected by anti-anxiety drugs including breathing, heart rate, digestions, thinking, muscle response, sleep, etc. Those little pills take over the function of a person’s physiology almost completely.

Most medical doctors have no idea how to do that. MD’s will advise you to take it easy, get rest, it will take time, wait, etc. In short, MDs really only give instructions on how to not get sicker, but few know how to create health now.

Specialized medical detox solutions are required to get healthy quickly. The fact that your MD is not aware of these only verifies my above claim. Call the Drug Rehab Advisor for Detox Solutions you can start today 1-888-840-0927
