Drug Rehab Advisor Testimonials

Tibor Thank you so much. It is reassuring to know that if changing is necessary, there is support to find the right facility. Trying to do it oneself on the internet is daunting! J is headed to the holistic rehab in Colorado you recommended as I write. As we moved forward, it became more and more evident that the Georgia rehab was not a good fit for J. J has lost 10 lbs and was taken to doctor yesterday. (I was not informed except for receiving call from clinic looking for payment.) The previous day he was told by Brett that if he caught him sleeping during the day, he would kick him out. Then I guess they realized just how sick he was and took him to doctor the next morning. Just not a good situation. Thank you for your help! Warmest Regards, N.  March 8 2017

Tibor, I hope all is well. I just wanted to check in and give you an update as well as express my deepest gratitude for your help in finding this rehab. I know at my core that I wouldn't have found it without you. It has been nothing short of miraculous. You were right in placing so much importance on the intent of the owner, Dean and though conceptually I knew you were right before I came, I am now experiencing the importance and power of that intent first hand and it is exponentially more powerful than I first imagined. The sincerity of caring here is unparalleled and has trickled down to even the cook, who by the way is more than fantastic (coming from a food snob, mind you). Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart. The amount of joy and excitement of life's adventure is back in my soul for the first time in over a decade....likely more and I am moved to tears of gratitude, love and joy as I type. Tibor Just wanted to let you know that my adult son arrived at the holistic rehab you suggested on Thursday and reported to Sarah this morning that he feels confident that he is in the right place there. I just wanted to thank you again and tell you what a blessing you have been. Thank you PM Alabama, 2017

Thanks so much for helping me find the rehab  I really needed. After going to a rehab center only to turn around when it didn't measure up to the pictures on their website, I was unsure about where I should go next.  It was magically how I found you, it was meant to be. Our conversation really helped me. Now I feel comfortable with my choice again, thank you. I am really ready for a change now. I've been through two 12 step rehabs before . . .  where I just used drugs in the bathroom on the breaks. But now I am ready for this but I also need a location where I can't go down the road and use. You found me exactly what I asked for. Thanks, Christine, Missouri Aug 15 2016

—Christine, Non 12 Step long-term rehab

I am sober and very happy about it thanks for reaching out hope you're well! Jackie

I loved all the questions you asked me. I feel like you get what I want and can get me to the right rehab. You're awesome! CT June 13 2016 (note: Robert arrived in rehab the following day with the help of a family member)

You're probably the first person I've spoken to who actually understood the problem I'm going through with benzos and trying to find someone who can actually help me. I've had all kinds of problems withdrawing from benzos and now you've given me hope. CO, July 24 2016

—Chris, CO July 2016

You probably saved my life. You're amazing! July 28 2016

"Hi Tibor, it's Debra,  Joshua's mother. I wanted to tell you. Thank you. Oh he just think you're the smartest he said: "Finally a smart guy." I guess I want to thank you for being so smart. (It helped) so that he could listen to what you were saying, he just thinks you know everything. Anyway. Thank you and I hope to talk to you later. Bye." Debra, mother

Hi, Tibor: I must apologize for not responding to your earlier email. The past 2-3 weeks have been pretty stressful but am happy to report that my daughter checked in to rehab yesterday at noon. She completed medical detox two weeks ago (not a pleasant experience) and has maintained sobriety since. We toured their facility last Friday and she felt very comfortable with the setting (beautiful), the program (impressive) and the people (all extremely warm, caring and professional). After the detox experience (at a state run facility), she did not trust myself or her sister to make the rehab decision without her own research and input. I know it is a bit pricey and not covered by insurance but I am a firm believer in the saying, “you get what you pay for” and everything about their program makes sense to me in terms of addiction treatment and recovery. Their rate of success is also a huge factor. I spoke with her a couple of hours ago and she seems to be settling in nicely. She enjoyed the group and individual sessions she’s had so far and said she can’t believe how fast the hour-and-a-half for each goes. She’s also a fan of the food! Again, so sorry for the late response. Please feel free to contact me if you need any further info or updates. I thank-you much for your input regarding the rehab placement. It gave me some peace-of-mind having a professional, such as yourself, recommend this facility especially after all of the months of confusion (not to mention, frustration!) and research that was put into the process. You a very caring and knowledgeable person and perform a valuable and much needed service . Again, I thank-you! Colleen

—Colleen – June 16, 2016

Hey Tibor,
Yes, everything is going smoothly, Melanie has been a great help! My flight is tomorrow at 6 PM and my boyfriend/X is helping me with the ticket and money for petty cash while I'm in there so it's been a good turnaround for me in the past day or two when it comes to support. My mom and dad have kind of come on board as well which is a big change. I'm getting nervous and scared, but also very excited to start a new chapter and put the past in the past where it belongs. And I couldn't have done it without your help. So thank you so much again!

—M. Jan 31 2016

I just wanted to thank you for all your help trying to find a facility for me. I am currently in rehab. They took me off the methadone right away no taper and put me on clonipine for the detox. Its my 12th day in and I am feeling great. I just wanted to thank you.
(note: we assisted Kaitlin in moving towards getting ready to go into recovery. She found rehab on her own. Simply a happy caller)

—Kaitlin Oct 13 2015

hi Tibor! so nice to hear from you and thank you for thinking of me. of course I would be glad to tell you how it went and how i'm doing. I am so very grateful for your guidance and encouragement and support. I remember everything you did for me including right up to taking my stressed out calls from the airport! btw my mom told me recently that when she dropped me off at the airport she didn't know how I was going to survive the next 24 hours.
Anyway my time at rehab went great and I am now med-free. it took me 6 weeks to get off Ativan and 6 weeks to get off Remeron.
They said they hadn't seen anybody power through getting off a benzo (like I did) in a long time. I don't know how I would have done both in 8 weeks tho. fortunately my brother was ok with me taking a little longer. I was I guess not the typical poster child though - as I think you know, I had never been to a rehab facility before or anything like that. so having my freedom compromised was occasionally a challenge for me. I mean, I've been a free bird for a long time right? but generally I really liked the staff and the program and am extremely appreciative of the support I received in so many ways for getting off my meds.
I have actually moved to Arizona and am doing the aftercare program now and probably for the next 6 weeks or so as I am getting my mercury fillings out the month of March - over 4 weeks worth of appointments, yikes! anyway more later and please always remember how grateful I am for your help. I would be glad to write a recommendation/testimonial for your website if you like. oh and p.s. I lucked out and got Charlie for my case manager. he has been great and he was tickled that I had you as my rehab advisor. much love and more soon,

—Susan. March 5, 2015

Yes, I will be glad to talk to you about my experience (at the rehab you recommended). It has been extremely helpful. Thank you again. I appreciate all you did to help me.

My daughter has been clean and sober for 5 years now.

—Tim, March 17 2015

HI Tibor
Firstly, thank you very much for your follow up call this afternoon, it was completely unexpected and very reassuring to hear from you.
While Trisha and i drove across Pennsylvania, she frantically googled for information that would help us deal with the situation we were rushing towards. My brother has been using heroin for an unknown period of time but likely 2+ years. So while we drove through the night, Trisha found your number and we called and you picked up. You talked us through the entire situation and how best to handle it. The center you recommended came through big time at 2:30am when they had a bed for us to bring my brother to. Safe to say Tibor, that without you we would have gotten to my brother with no plan. Your advise, and kindness may very well be the determining factor in what saves my brother from his addiction. My family and i will never be able to thank you enough. I just hope that more people come across your site and find your number and can save someone they love.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
We couldn't have done it without your insight.
We are forever grateful

—Mike, March 10, 2015

Hi Tibor,
Iv been meaning to communicate with you. I went threw with the rehab program in Oklahoma you suggested. The program gave me the opportunity and the time I needed to repair my life and get IRENE back. I did 8 days in the withdraw portion of the program and did 33 day in the Sauna program. in all I spent 4 1/2 months there. I am now 6 months sober!!!!! My family and I are very grateful to of had you as our first point of contact once i made the decision to get help. Many people asked me along the way how i found out about this holistic drug rehab and honestly i found out threw the information i found on the internet with you speaking and providing a phone number to call and you answered to help me.
I will give you a call so we can talk and catch up!
Best Regards and again thank you. I am a success . . !

—IRENE, Feb 24, 2015

Thank you for your thoughts and direction, Tibor. You have no idea how much you have helped me put into perspective, from a mom's point of view, the situation my son is in as well as the rest of our family. I am truly glad I met you and highly value the assistance you gave me over the past year. I will keep your e-mail and read it often. Thank you again for being there, using your experience, knowledge and insight will help me move on. I feel strength in knowing "its what we do with our time here that makes a difference.

Intervention Success:
Hey Tibor this is Marsha I just wanted to bring you up to date what happened and from me personally. Thank you and much gratitude on Deanna's mothers and fathers part and my husband Riley and I are so grateful to you and I know that Don is equally so you put us with Frank. He did a splendid job. We were thrilled gifted. Bye gosh he is gifted and within a 24 hour period of meeting with Frank our Anna is in rehab. I'm holding back crying . . Thank you.
You've been more instrumental in helping us with our daughter accepting rehab than I can put into words.

—Marsha 18 Sept 2014

Thank you so much for your help. I'm going to the rehab we discussed. It’s very scary but also exciting. I feel like my whole world could open up in a positive way and I could get back in balance and fulfill my dreams and destiny. I know there will be hard work, but I know the life I will have will be much better than the one I am subsisting in now.
I think it is great the work you do, and I will contact you later. Wish me luck!

—Best wishes, Robin G, August 18 2014

Hi Tibor,
I know it has been some time since our last communication. I just wanted to update you about Dylan. He entered rehab on 7/30 and is doing ok I hear. There was a pretty serious event that finally led him to his decision. He has already relapsed with alcohol since entering. I can only pray that he gets and accepts the help he needs. I appreciate all your help. I also wanted to let you know, that while I could not afford Frank's interventionist services, he did give me great support and we have spoken several times. I could not put into words, how much I think of him. He is " Good People". Thank you for getting us together.

—My most sincere gratitude, Michelle, August 13 2014

Tibor, I was in contact with you about a year ago concerning my son Garrett. He went to 60 days of treatment on your recommendation, and continues to be doing well.

—March 3 2014 Dana

I just want to sincerely thank you for your help today. You couldn't have made this difficult process any easier.
You are a true guardian angel.

Hi Tibor,
With your input, we had boiled the choices down.
Basically, Lynette’s chronic nausea, panic disorder and depression was caused from the combined effect on her central nervous system of mercury, arsenic and benzodiazepines. She stayed at there for 4 months with a very slow start due to her comprised medical condition. From 120 lbs, Lynette was reduced to a 95-lb frail human being incapable of conducting the activities of daily living. As such, it took about 2 months for the program to take hold.
The rehabs clean environment (dairy, gluten, soy and sugar free), use of orthomolecular and holistic treatment principles, as well as a caring staff not so rigid as to pigeon-hole her condition, led to the perfect healing environment. I picked her up on April the 4th and returned her to her home. She is healthy and happy.
This was an absolutely amazing story of recovery.
I’m a fan (of this rehab) forever and will support him in any way I can.

—Best regards, Thom, May 3 2014

Thank you, Tibor. You have been a big help and I appreciate your dedication to assisting folks in getting off of benzos.,

Thank you so much - totally feeling purposeful about this again and getting ready to make the calls to rehab centers.

I am happy you are looking over several different centers, that's wonderful. The 2 centers you are considering appear similar but they are quite different.
One is a disease based model: ie you have got a disease and with meds, treatment, meetings you can manage it.
The other is a holistic based rehab. ie you have got life issues and they will help you handle the causes of these issues and live the life you were meant to.
I know it's a brief description, but the philosophy the rehab program director forwards will be seen in every aspect of recovery. I believe center philosophy is what differentiates programs. I only refer people to holistic centers.

Truly Tibor, June 2013]

Wow I never would have known that. I really then believe the holistic rehab you recommended is more for me because I believe I have life issues. Thank you for clearing that up to me. I really appreciate that."

Tibor, thank you so much for your help.
My son entered rehab today in the holistic California rehab center for men & they have been very professional and accommodating so far. I am cautiously optimistic that an extended rehab will help put my son on the path to sobriety, but we'll take it one day at a time.

—Best regards, Lynne August 2013

I can't thank you enough because in the past when I've tried to find treatment for Justin it was a confusing nightmare. I always called center after center. The service you provide is invaluable. This has been so easy I can't even believe it! Thank you from the bottom of my heart

Hi Tibor,
We got Laura to LA center on Sunday night. She is going thru detox now but we have great hope that she will embrace this opportunity. We cannot thank you enough for your guidance and support thru this rough spot in all our lives. You are an unbelievable resource to people who are striving to get themselves or a loved one into the right rehab center.

Hi Tibor,
My name is Dana and we talked awhile back concerning my son Garrett. Just wanted to give you an update and thank you for referring us to RS. Garrett has been in house there since Feb. 16 and we are seeing good progress. The staff there is giving good reports on his participation in the program and he has a very good attitude toward his need for treatment. He has also talked about possibly wanting to stay another 30 days to complete his steps and be strong enough to then go to a sober living house. Thanks again for your help.

—Dana R, mother in AZ 2013

Just wanted you to know that an intervention has been done with Michelle and she has been admitted to a treatment center in South Orange County.
Thank you for putting the wheels of support, advice and information in motion that has brought us to this point in time. Your assistance is very much appreciated.

Hi Tibor,
Yes she is going to go to the women's only center. She spoke with Lauren and is supposed to leave on Wednesday. I will keep my fingers crossed. Thanks again for all your help and leading us in the right direction. I am very hopeful.
Thanks again!

—Bonnie, NY 2012

Thanks for all your help Tibor. ATM gave me a very good offer, but I have decided to go with the executive rehab, based upon: (1) the significant number of 1:1 sessions counseling/therapy sessions per week, (2) the fact that they tailor their program to meet each client's needs, and (3) the intensity of their approach to after-care, which they schedule before clients leave their facility. My gut also tells me this is where I should have gone the first time. Thanks.

—Best, Alex, IL 2013

Thanks a lot for your recommendations. I was able to successfully get of off benzodiazepines. I did a ten day taper on Valium and got out in 30 days. I went all over Orange County; it was more like a vacation during the recovery process!

Drug Rehab Success
Hi T,
Greetings from London! Thanks for the follow up. Colton is doing GREAT at Valley. We talk at least 2-3 times per week and he sounds really good. I think it’s been about a month now that he’s been there and we hope they will keep him as long as possible. When he graduates, he will come directly to live with us for awhile while we figure out what to do with his schooling. Probably we will send him off to a boarding school in a safe drug free environment. He will NEVER go back to San Diego if I can help it.
I can’t thank you and Tonya enough…

—I’ll keep you updated. Sincerely, David J. CA 2012

Hi T,
Our prayers have been answered! Jessica has agreed to go to the women's only recovery rehab; she will return to her father's home tomorrow and drive up to the center on Wednesday. The relief is overwhelming.
Thank you for your kindness and patience with our family throughout this ordeal. Your help and suggestions have been so helpful and valuable.

—Take care, Sue A., mother in FL 2012

Hi T, I don't know if you remember me. My name is Lisa S. My daughter is Katelyn and she ended up going to the rehab in California. Which is over five months over now, and she is doing spectacular! Thank you so much for helping us getting her in the right direction. There is another kid that has come to me who wants to get sober and he called last night, late last night and so I'm trying to see what I can do and how I can help. So I'm hoping you can help me to.

Hi T,
I got your messages. Update since our last convo, I spoke with detox center Thursday and they agreed that I should move forward with seeing an Integrative Medicine Group at this point. I have an appt. this Monday the 16th. Yesterday, I had a wonderful day. I felt like a normal person -- my mind was clear and I felt great physically all day – PROGRESS!! At this point, I am going to stay local and go for the physical/emotional support through the group I mentioned above and see where it takes me. Thank you for your insight and words of wisdom. Keep up the good work you’re doing for others.

—Deb W, FL 2011

Hi T,
Thank you so much for taking the time to talk to me and explain the options that may be available to my daughter. You are providing such an incredible service to those of us who are unaware of the scope of services and are in pain and confused.
I CANNOT believe that Freedom Foundation called and said insurance will cover the cost of treatment, I am so blessed and consider this a true Christmas miracle, I only hope she will take this gift.....
In my desire to 'pay it forward' is there anything you could suggest I do for other parents who are going through this….it was my assumption that if 30 day treatment was denied at one facility it would be denied at all........and that is not true....

—Helen, NJ 2012

Hi Tibor
yes you help me with some questions on my son. He is back at home and we have had a few bumps on the road but things are getting better thank you again, Russ father. 2011
Thank you kindly T for all of your help and guidance. I've been in rehab in PA since Wednesday and am very happy to have begun this process here. You were a tremendous help and are very much appreciated

Alcohol Rehab Success Story and Family Success
Hi Tibor,
I got a phone call from Scott O. today. He graduated the rehab program 3 years ago now.
He was just phoning to say hello and that he is doing GREAT! He is working full time, has re-defined family relationships and is now a grandfather.
And his Mother has taken a trip to Europe and is enjoying her “golden years” with no worry.
So – thanks for the placement back then and I wanted to share the mutual win with you.

Hi T.!
Things are moving forward with this facility. It does seem to be a great fit for Debbie. We are waiting to hear how much insurance will be picked up...The intervention is set up and we are waiting to get the incoming flight schedule.
We are set up for Wed. and Thurs. and are all busy making arrangements and getting key people on board. Thank you for spending all the time with CJ and I to make this happen. We will be forever grateful. I will keep you posted.

Drug Rehab Success Stories
I wanted to follow up with a thank you letter. I don't know that my beautiful daughter would be where she is today had I not found your web site, Drugrehabadvisor.com.
When Heather decided enough was enough, she was no longer in control of her life and I no longer in denial. We had to find her help and save her.
I started looking on line for rehab centers in our home state of FL. The choices were daunting, there were so many I didn't even know where to begin. I got lost for hours looking at one then another. I was very fortunate when I came across your website. Your quick action in responding to my email along with your encouragement I find Heather the help she needed, helped to save her life and give her the second chance she is living now!
Your help in finding me facilities that would work with my insurance and assuring me that you only recommend facilities with 75% success rate was the confidence I needed to take the next step. I believe you even contacted two facilities and had them call me. Encouraging me to take necessary action to save my daughter, which I greatly appreciated.
After talking with some really great people at both facilities, I chose RS because they offered a 90 day holistic program. I wanted somewhere she could learn to live a drug free life, get her health back and address her demons. I am so thankful you suggested Heather leave the state and go far away, this was great advice. Sending my only daughter to the middle of the dessert to strangers was one of the hardest things I've had to do, but it turned out to be the best thing we could have done.
For the first 30 days all she wanted to do was leave and I believe if she were closer to home, she would have.
thankfully we got her to just stick it out for 30 days. the fog began to lift and she committed herself to the full 90 days. What RS taught her, the twelve step program, coupled with the counseling she received while there helped her realize and accept she was where she needed to be.
The people at RS were wonderful. They gave Heather the tools she needed to go out and live a clean sober life. She embraced everything she learned and was so committed to her progress decided she wanted to make a new start at a sober living home in CA.
Her father and I just returned from a visit with her. It had been 4 months since we last saw her. We met a women we had never met before, she is changed person. She has grown so much and learned so much from her experience. I'm very thankful for AA as it turned out even though she moved to a strange town, she has a huge support group of instant like minded friends.
We are very fortunate.
For all this, you have our sincere gratitude. I will never forget you or the change you help to bring about in my family.
Best wish and kindest regards,

—Doreen H, mother in FL 2012

Thanks for all your help and guidance. I enter detox tomorrow. You have really been there for me, my family, & friends during this hard time. I will keep you up to date with my progress. I am so happy there are people like you out there. It helps people like me that feel lost and betrayed by the medical field.
I can't wait to get my life back!
Thank You 🙂

—Thanks again, Jacquelyn B, IL 2011

You helped me and that's something I can't say anyone has done when it comes to this monster that takes a hold of me. I do want to change but I don't see drugs the way everyone else does.. I want to. My biggest issue is how addicts are perceived and especially judged. I'm no different than anyone else, everyone has their demons; only mines are visible on the surface. I'm looking through the Viejo site right now and I feel so good about this right now. It's exactly what I imagined I'd want in a rehab. I need a place that reminds me of how beautiful the world is and after reading about it and seeing the pictures, this place is exactly that 🙂 🙂 🙂
Thank you so much. I'll keep you updated. I'll be calling my mom soon so that I can obtain Aetna insurance by latest tomorrow morning. I'll be calling Henry then to inform him of my situation so that we can begin making preparations. With your help regarding insurance, I have no problem now with staying there until mid-end of September (I received a scholarship and I can't let that slide) if that's what's needed. I only feel this way because of your help in finding me the perfect place with the perfect pricing matched with the insurance company that'd be most compatible with it. I needed everything to fit into place like this, and now it has. Thank you!!! 😀

—Hyder 2011

Hello Tibor,
I wanted to write and thank you for your help in finding what I believe to be one of the best possible options to save my daughter. I wonder what might be had I not found your site last weekend. I'm happy to say Heather is on her way to rehab as I write this. I hope to feel more at ease once I know she's arrived and settled in. I am excited for Heathers bright new future.
Thank you for your guidance.

Drug Recovery Success Stories
Kathy is doing fantastic as a trainee - actually a lot better than I thought she would. She just wrote a success story today and I thought maybe you could pass it on to Tibor. Executive Director, Rehab in GA
"When I came to rehab my life was torn. I had spent the last 12 years feeding my addiction of crack cocaine. I had been in and out of rehabs thinking I had hit my bottom, but again, I picked up a shovel and started digging once again to find a new bottom.
When I arrived here at rehab I was greeted by a wonderful group of staff members that helped me start my road to recovery. Through the program I learned many things. I learned to communicate and with the objectives I learned to stop repeating my cycles of addiction. With each objective I felt that I was shredding a layer that was keeping me stuck in addiction.
On part 5 I learned about the two types of people and how in my past I would connect with the antisocial group. Today I realize that I want to be a part of the other group. I learned to be more positive in my actions and how to affect others in a more positive way around me. In section 6 I wrote and wrote and in the end I felt a weight lifted off of my shoulders. I could even breath a little deeper. In step 7, not only did I repair my past conditions, but I moved up to present time conditions to normal. I know now that if I am ever not in a good spot, I need to work the conditions to help myself. In book 8 I learned a different way to be happy. The way I was trying to be happy before wasn’t working, but this one did.
Now, since completing the program, I am applying everything I have learned. I am a loving daughter for my parents and a mother that my children can look up to.
Since graduating, I have remained clean and sober. I have been given a chance to help other addicts by working in the orientation department. I look forward every day to being clean and sober, while using the tools that my rehab has given me in all my affairs.

Drug Rehab Success Stories
Tibor, here it is.
I started using drugs when I was 13. I tried many times to get clean and my life was a constant struggle for survival. I've been homeless. I've been crazy. I've been anything under the sun because of drugs.
I first met Tibor nearly 5 years ago when he came to a detox center to show me some options for treatment. He was right on the ball with everything. It's been a rocky road to getting clean and at every bump in the road Tibor was there to help. Not only with me but with my whole family. He has worked alongside my mom, my grandparents, my aunt and more to really help me get to where I need to be.
Whenever something came up, he had a solution and for that I can't be more grateful for his dedication and support through my journey. Whether it was words of wisdom or a real tangible solution for what to do. Because I'll be honest, nobody is perfect. We all make mistakes and Tibor helped me correct those mistakes.
He's been working with my family for 5 years! He doesn't just send you on your way and forget about you. He follows up. Keeps it working and is in it for the long run. I am forever grateful. Thank you!
