    Hello I’m writing in regards to the methadone i’m taking.I currently taking 70mg per day. I really need to get off of methadone so bad. My unemployment will be running and there’s no job’s out there especially ,here in Jan i’ll have a felony on my record. Taking methadone helps me , but it’s expensive. I need help so bad I don’t know where to turn. I’ve been depressed for 5 plus years now and I do think of suicide everyday because what’s going on with my life and etc. But I wont follow through with it (to chicken 2). If I miss one day not taking methadone I go through cold chills , hot sweats , irritable, lose appetite. I’m just sick & tired , I need to get off of methadone. I need to get my life back. BUt with a felony on my record I dont know HOW I WILL. Do you have any idea how i can kick the methadone?

    Hello Tibor & Staff,

    I just purchased your at home program and am surprised that you don’t
    include vital amino acids that help with withdrawal symptoms.
    Considering all the research that was done for this program.
    Perhaps you have a list somewhere in this program that includes
    the vital amino acids to help for ex: Methionine for pain during Heroin withdrawal. etc.

    Emily,
    I’m glad you know about the use of amino’s like tryptophan and Methionine. We found that amino’s in combination work best and therefore recommend everyone to use therapies with solid nutritional supports. Using single amino’s or vitamins can be too specific, if consideration is not made to balancing nutrients as these work in combination as you clearly know. DrugRehabAdvisor recommends one of the best protein formulaes, which includes many whole foods in combination. People are doing better on that protein than on individual single aminos and other nutrients. Balance is the answer.
    So please use single aminos like methionine and trytophan to bolster specific areas while also incorporating whole foods and complete nutrient balance. You’re obviously on the right track.
